Automated In-App Analysis: From Assay to Insight in Minutes

Turn raw luminescence data into clear results—no manual calculations, no extra software.

ProNect® apps work with MyGlo® to guide you from plate read to analysis, delivering rapid, ready-to-use insights. For Promega assays with dedicated apps, ProNect® automatically delivers:

  • Analysis types: dose response (with EC50/IC50 values and 4PL/5PL curve fits), single concentration, and linearity analysis.
  • Assay-specific visualizations, including:
    • CellTiter-Glo®: cell viability and % inhibition
    • Caspase-Glo® 3/7: caspase activity
    • LDH-Glo™: % cytotoxicity and LDH release
  • Exportable Data: Raw and processed data accessible in-app or exportable to Excel for downstream use.

What You Need to Know About MyGlo®

  • Software included via ProNect®: Guided workflows for plate setup, reading, analysis, and cloud-based results.

MyGlo® FAQs

What is MyGlo®, and how is it different from a traditional plate reader?
MyGlo® is a compact, portable 96-well luminescence plate reader designed for flexibility in modern labs. Unlike conventional stand-alone readers, MyGlo® connects seamlessly to the cloud-based ProNect® Data Platform, which is accessible through any web browser. This integration means you get more than just a reader—you get an end-to-end data solution.

  • Single-mode design that streamlines operation for specific assays.
  • Remote control capabilities let you manage experiments from anywhere.
  • Meaningful data insights are surfaced through guided setup, plate reading, and data analysis all managed through ProNect® apps.
  • Always available—MyGlo is ready when you’re ready, eliminating the wait and planning required for shared instruments.
What workflows does MyGlo® support for luminescent assays, and is it compatible with spheroids?

MyGlo® gives you the flexibility of two different workflows depending on the luminescent assay you are using and on the requirements of your experiment.

Workflow 1: Plate Read + Analysis

Provides assay-specific results and end-to-end data analysis in less time than incubating CellTiter-Glo® samples. Available for assays with dedicated ProNect® apps (e.g., CellTiter-Glo®).

Steps:

  • Quick read in <30 seconds.
  • Create a plate map (~5 minutes).
  • Analyze and visualize data (~10 seconds).

Workflow 2: Quick Read + Export

Works with any luminescent assay, including customized assays without a dedicated ProNect® app.

Steps:

  • Read a full 96-well plate in <30 seconds.
  • See results instantly as a raw RLU heatmap.
  • Easily export data as Excel file (GraphPad Prism–ready).

3D Spheroid Compatibility

  • MyGlo® is compatible with 3D luminescent assays.
  • For best results, transfer spheroids from a seeding plate to a white 96-well plate before measurement.

Why does MyGlo® require an internet connection, and is there an offline option?

MyGlo® is designed to leverage the power and convenience of the cloud. It requires an internet connection via your lab’s Wi-Fi to operate using the ProNect® apps.

  • Currently, there is no offline version of MyGlo®.
  • Coming soon: Glo-Fi™ network accessory, which will expand connectivity options to Wi-Fi 5Ghz, wired Ethernet, and global cellular.
